I spent the first half of my career to date in software development, as a software developer and Software Development Manager. During this period I had the opportunity to experience the entire software development life cycle while working on some very interesting and critical projects.
For the last 9+ years I have been in a leadership role in a high paced and client focused environment where my key focus areas have been customer success, revenue growth, process improvement and program management, relationship building and management.
Most would consider me to be a high achiever who is not afraid to take risks but i think I would just settle for one who is hard working and enjoy being part of something more.
Starting as a support engineer I have worked in varying roles over that 20 years and have always maintained a keen interest in emerging trends in technology.
I am very experienced in outlining the value proposition to decision makers, be it a technical audience, enterprise architects or C-Level executives. I particularly relish opportunities to align technology to fit particular business goals or strategic direction.
I am an excellent communicator and trust builder both internally and externally and always focus on what is in important internally and for customers.
As I start this year, Sustainability will remain a key focus for me. As the new Field Partner Marketing Manager for Microsoft Ireland, I will also focus on ensuring that we have a partner ecosystem in Ireland which can provide the right expertise to help our customers thrive and will ensure we have the right Go-To-Market strategy in place to help those partners be successful.
