Account Manager / Inside Sales

About the Role 

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Account Manager / Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. Reporting to the sales manager, this is a revenue-focused role where you will be expected to call customers and prospects regularly to generate qualified leads, nurture existing accounts, and close new business. 

You will learn how to manage a pipeline, execute sales strategies, and support partner growth. So, if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy building relationships over the phone, and are motivated by targets and results, this is the ideal entry point into a sales career in the technology/IT services sector. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead Generation & Sales Activities 
  • Generate and qualify leads through regular outbound calls, emails, and digital outreach. 
  • Schedule meetings, demos, and sales activity with prospects and existing clients. 
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue, activity, and pipeline targets. 
  • Account Development & Revenue Growth 
  • Maintain and expand relationships with assigned accounts, with a clear focus on upselling and cross-selling. 
  • Promote campaigns, solutions, and offers to drive partner engagement and revenue. 
  • Follow up with partners regularly to ensure opportunities are progressed. 
  • Pipeline Management 
  • Accurately log activities, opportunities, and progress in CRM (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics). 
  • Prepare weekly reports on calls made, leads generated, and revenue achieved. 
  • Sales Planning & Marketing Support 
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies with guidance from the manager. 
  • Develop and maintain sales materials, proposals, and promotional content. 
  • Plan and support direct marketing campaigns to drive business. 
  • Collaboration 
  • Work hand in hand with your colleagues from the Cloud division. 
  • Work closely with your manager and sales team to share to refine pitch techniques and closing skills and share best practices. Participate in training and coaching to improve calling, closing, and account management skills. 

Requirements 

  • Education & Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or equivalent experience. 
  • Prior customer contact experience (telesales, call centre, retail, internship, etc.) is an advantage. 
  • Skills & Competencies 
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain strong relationships over the phone (confident, engaging, and persuasive). 
  • High energy, self-starter attitude. 
  • Goal-oriented and driven by working with quotas, KPIs, and revenue targets. 
  • Resilient, and comfortable making daily outbound calls. 
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills (familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office is a strong asset).
