Stuart Wilson

Stuart Wilson is senior research director for IDC’s Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Partnering Ecosystems program. With over two decades of global experience, Stuart focuses on the rise of complex, connected ecosystems and how platform models are reshaping routes to market and partner engagement frameworks.

His research spans partner program evolution, marketplace dynamics, ISV engagement, the future of distribution, and the growing role of influencers. He also explores how AI is transforming partner business models, service delivery, and vendor alignment with GSIs. A key focus is agentic AI and its potential to redefine ecosystem structures and revenue flows.

Stuart tracks regional developments such as digital sovereignty, sustainability, and operational efficiency in EMEA, with a focus on how these forces are influencing partnering strategies and reshaping business models. Prior to IDC, Stuart held senior roles at Infopro Digital, DISTREE Events, ITP, and IT Europa, where he delivered global events connecting vendors with top partners, supported by content creation on partnering trends and ecosystem innovation.
